Introducing the Circle of Health©, an innovative tool designed to enhance collaboration and partnership development across sectors. The Circle of Health© is a powerful tool that engages collaborators, creates a shared language for stakeholders, and promotes innovative solutions to complex issues.
To help you learn more about this innovative tool and how to use it, we are excited to announce a new online workshop series that delves into the practice and value of the Circle of Health©. The 5-part online professional development course will be led by Patsy Beattie-Huggan, President of The Quaich Inc. (Canadian distributor of the Circle of Health©), and will be delivered through the Zoom video conferencing service.
Throughout the interactive workshops, you will engage in dialogue and collaboration with other participants, and use the Circle of Health© in a variety of exercises and small assignments. The Circle of Health© serves as the framework for discussion, and integrates principles of health promotion, the Ottawa Charter, the social determinants of health, and the Aboriginal Medicine Wheel.
The workshops will be held on February 7, 2023, and will be tailored to professionals working in the health and community sectors. The course will enhance your skills in partnership development, collaborative planning, knowledge exchange and facilitation. In addition, you will have access to support and guidance from an experienced facilitator who will help you to put the Circle of Health© into practice.
Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of participation. If you are interested in learning more about the Circle of Health© and how it can help to enhance collaboration and partnership development across sectors, we invite you to register for our online workshop series today!
