Melina and Anne, both students of Applied Health Science at Furtwangen University in Germany, have used the Circle of Health© framework to approach real-world health challenges in their studies and internships.
Melina discovered how the Circle helps bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application, especially when tackling new health problems in professional settings. It also helped her navigate teamwork and collaboration, ensuring everyone’s strengths were utilized effectively.
Anne used the Circle of Health© to combine health literacy with cultural aspects of menstrual health for her thesis. The framework gave her a structured, comprehensive way to explore how health literacy and cultural values impact health outcomes in different regions, from Germany to the Dominican Republic.
Both students found the Circle of Health© to be an invaluable tool for navigating complex health issues and fostering collaboration.
