While at the European Public Health Conference in Slovenia, November 28 - December 1, lead Circle of Health facilitator Patsy Beattie-Huggan had the opportunity to present a workshop and two posters about The Circle of Health, in collaboration with European colleagues (Stefanie Harsch, University of Education, Freiburg, Germany; Kirsten Steinhausen, Furtwangen University, Germany; Luís Saboga Nunes, National School of Public Health - Universidade NOVA de Lisboa, Portugal).

* Workshop: The Circle of Health & European Alliance EAHPR: rooting public health innovations into practice

* Innovations in Public Health – Poster: Development and uptake of the Circle of Health– best practice in shared leadership

* Healthy Living and Health Promotion – Poster: Circle of Health – a unique knowledge translation tool with global potential

The team also met with Antonio Sarria, who translated the Circle of Health into Spanish in 1998. They all discussed mobilizing the Circle of Health in Europe.

Patsy then traveled to Germany to teach Circle of Health classes and connect with colleagues and students in Furtwangen and Freiburg. While in Germany, she also brought the COH to The Internationaler Bund.

Details and photos from her trip can be found on the Circle of Health Facebook page.
